The leading private company in the homecare sector is building its future in partnership.
"It's been ten years since my husband Junior and I set up the company, and we've been through a lot. Our baby is now mature and we had to look to the future," explains Stéphanie Cornu Santos. This future involves an alliance with Impact Healthcare, a newly-created company owned by Après-Demain SA, a diversification group founded by the Mauverney family, whose main division (Debiopharm) is active in the life sciences.
This partnership between La-solution.ch SA and Impact Healthcare is part of a long-term vision, explains the director of La Solution: "For several years now, I've been a member of a jury and I've worked alongside Thierry Mauverney (editor's note: head of Debiopharm). We discussed the future of our business. We'll need to reach a critical mass that La-solution.ch doesn't yet have. This partnership allows us to move forward.
Not only is the partner solid, but it is also willing to invest in a sector that is set to grow enormously, as the needs of a growing number of senior citizens will have to be met. According to statistical forecasts, their numbers could double by 2045, representing one in four Vaud residents!
"This partnership matches our sensibility. There is a growing need for support, assistance and care for the elderly and those losing their independence," points out Valérie Calvayrac, co-president of Impact Healthcare.
